Springtime In My Milieu

Click photos to enlarge*

My pink and white roses are budding and flowering...
as well as the red roses here in my garden....

My umbrella plants are doing well... and so are the wandering jews...
...the lemon tree (left) is growing and the lime (right) as wel though quite slowly..they are giving accent to our garage...

...tamarind chime from my sisterette Balloon, given to me last year when she and her family went to Quezon for a summer holiday...I was in Manila last year in spring...Look at my window treatment above. Isn't it lovely? I did the curtains last year...with the floral fabric being so gay and festive...they are quite useful again this year...to welcome the color of spring....red, yellow, blue, orange and green...

I love chimes...we love chimes... so husband bought me the giant ones...the sound is glorious to our hearts... and the smaller one is again from Balloon...the sound is heavenly and sweet~this is as old as her son Paco who is now going to be 14 in August...this chime traveled with me from Asia to Africa, Europe then to America...I love this chime...it connects me with my past...and the wreath...the very first one I bought during my first springtime here...all are remarkable memorabilias of my time in Ripon...next spring husband and I won't be here...but is should be a different spring in the heart of San Francisco...
