Red Velvet Cake- Baked From Scratch!

I baked this 2 days after Thanksgiving 2010 in Portland, Oregon. Visited and stayed with my in-laws. This was my gift to husband's brother's 40th wedding anniversary! They love it!

Pizzicatto's Little Learning Corner*

1. Knowledge is power. It is your great equalizer to those who insult you, hurt, condemn or envy you. But with it comes challenges. Be confident.

2. Having a peace of mind is a wonderful gift from Above. No money can give you peace. Your conscience does that in harmony with yourself- mind, body and soul.

3. To have a number of good friends whom you can count on by the fingers is handy to have. So work on your PR skills as a prelude.

4. Never let a day pass by without saying the grace. Whatever you have now can one day melt away. Don't be uptight and selfish,

5. Life is all about affirmation and sharing. Of love. Wealth. Faith. Hope. And charity. It is like networking with nature and God. You talk it out, positivity to the maxim.

6. In the end, health matters most. Once you are ill, problematic, or in the verge of death, your success and social position are nothing more than just trimmings to check on how your value system works. Your strength diminishes you by the hour, minutes and seconds. If you are set to go fast, all comes easy. If not, you suffer mostly. Pray you don't have a lot of pain. You can manage that by starting your life to have a strong moral compass. Have faith. Be humble. Be nice. Do you have faith apart from yourself? That, you have to ask yourself now.
