Anthony Bourdain Dead by Suicide
Above is a feature from my Instagram account at pizzicatto56
I woke up early this Saturday morning and read the news on my iPad at Daily Mail UK that this great chef had died. Of what? Suicide. Definitely, there was a depression hanging in there that nobody really knew existed. Sad to say, he was heavy on substance abuse, too. His good friend and co-workers said as well that the pressure of the job took a toll on him.
Suicide kills.
Suicide does not choose a person's age, sex, race or economic background. If help is needed, time is the key. Are we sensible enough to spot a loved one or a friend who is depressed? Think about it.
We can't all be drawn to ourselves all the time and take selfies for posterity. If only we care more, we can prevent suicide from eating the lives of many.
I am not doctor. Am just saying, let's give a little love, attention and care to others. Those 5-minute span could change the lives of those needing it so badly. Just saying...#anthonybourdain
