French Baguette With Cornmill Topping

I baked this set of bread after lunch today and am making "Minestroni Soup" for dinner in a while. Yummy!

I used half of the yield of the recipe and made just the right size of the baguette.

Back in Manila when I was there three weeks ago, I remember how my cute niece Sugar Pie loved the French bread I baked in her house.
She told me as she was eating it for snacks, "Wow! Mainit! Sarap!"

(Translation: "Wow! Hot! Delicious!")

She said these with a warm smile. I felt great as a bread baker! Days later my sister (her mom) said that Sugar Pie commented that it was the best baguette she ever tasted. Well, then I think she was right! Haha!
