We enjoyed our time together walking and sauntering from Union to the wharf and it was great. It was quite cold coming back from the pier. Otherwise, the weather was fine. I wore my new pair of Levi's jeans and my new pair of boots (Rockport). Whew! Now, I dress up like a native San Franciscan in this outfit. Gone are the days I used to come to work in suit and pumps with matching bags and academic books. Now, I am like the typical resident here in the city. Well, despite the fact that I seldom dress up in skirts or dress, I manage to still look "feminine" in my jeans. I am always in this gear to keep my legs warm as it is always cool and nippy here in North Beach, ayayay!
At Pier 39, we went to our favorite KAPPS shop. There, Little Boy Blue (LBB) bought me my first-ever "cowboy hat" and purchased as well, another purple beret for me. Anyhow, all is well now. I have two new hats to add to my collection. LBB returned his other khaki hat as well. As a couple, we are really into hats since we walk a lot here and we need these to protect us from the sun and to keep us warm during those cold or rainy days. Currently, LBB is scouting for a Fedora hat on-line that is like four hundred bucks to seven hundred bucks a piece. I want to pass out when he expressed his desire for this hat. Santa Banana- $700.00 for a hat? Hm, I told him,
